When you need less facilities than the Complete package offers but more than the Chart Recorder, Lite or Classic packages provide, Prodigy’s flexible licensing mechanism allows you to create a package that exactly matches your requirements.

For instance, you could choose the Lite Runtime package and add Recipe Handling and Batch Data facilities as extra modules. In this case, if you refer to the Price Summary you will see that the Lite Runtime package costs £990 and the Recipe Handling and Batch Data facilities come together at a combined price of +£375 making a total price of £1365. To simplify ordering add on facilities have short codes, e.g. Lite Runtime + BR.

Similarly you can purchase additional I/O and internal tag allowances to match your individual requirements. Again referring to the above example if you wanted to increase the standard I/O and tag allowance of the Lite Runtime package from 100 I/O and 1000 tags to 200 I/O and 2000 tags it is £400 for the relevant upgrade. This would make the price for the Lite Runtime package plus additional modules, I/O and tags a total of £1765.

Development or Runtime?

The Development packages are required in order to configure and develop new systems. They provide access to the configuration section associated with many Prodigy facilities. The Runtime packages are ideal for completed systems where you will not be making regular configuration changes, or want to deliberately prohibit any changes from being made. Runtime licences are also cheaper, saving you money on multiple systems that use the same configuration.

Network Access

There are a range of add on packages available to allow network access to and between Prodigy systems. These provide options from full remote system interaction through to limited off-line archived trend viewing.
Prodigy Interconnect allows sharing of realtime data between two or more Prodigy systems making it easy to develop any Prodigy system to provide DCS capability.
