Receive and accept alarms, monitor and control industrial processes from any location via SMS text messaging with Prodigy Mobile SCADA software.
Mobile SCADA uses Prodigy's SMS2 Interactive feature and its alarm facilities provide a flexible way to distribute critical alarm information to any number of mobile phone users.
More versatile than a pager system, it utilises SMS text messaging to provide detailed alarm messages, secure alarm acceptance, full alarm reporting and even remote process control! This allows users to rectify problems directly via their mobile phone within seconds of the alarm occuring.
SMS2 Interactive can even provide mini reports directly to your mobile phone allowing you to keep in touch with your process performance at all times.
There is an information sheet for Mobile SCADA giving more detailed information which can be accessed from the attached document file at the bottom of this page.
The SMS2 Interactive facility is available as standard in the Prodigy Complete package and is an add on option for the Lite, Classic or Chart Recorder packages.

SMS1 - Alarm Output
SMS1 provides a simple way of distributing alarm messages to mobile cellular phone users. Each user registers their mobile number with Prodigy and joins one or more alarm groups. They will then receive an SMS text message for each alarm that occurs, clears or is accepted. SMS1 works using any standard telephone line and modem by sending the alarm messages via your selected short message service centre.
Short message service centres are available in most countries that have SMS capable networks. Users looking to utilise this facility should check on the availability of short message service centres in their region.
